Hace mucho tiempo atrás salió la información sobre una secuela de Donnie Darko, que más que secuela es catalogada como spin-off por muchos, llamada S. Darko y en la que veríamos un impasse como el de Donnie pero esta vez vivido por su hermana Samantha Darko, interpretada por Daveigh Chase. La noticia del día es que esta cuestionada secuela no llegará a los cines jamás, sino que sólo será estrenada en DVD, directo a la casita, el día 28 de Abril powered by MGM’s Home Entertainment. Hasta ahora el único material que está disponible es el teaser trailer que pueden encontrar después del salto, y si quieren ver el trailer sólo deben tener un poco de paciencia, ya que en teoría va a ser estrenado en algunos días más en la Comic Con de New York. En fin, ¿que les parece que esto llegue sólo al DVD?, ¿la película es como las pelotas o es una estrategia para que se convierte en material de culto al igual que la anterior?… yo creo que es más la primera opción, pero bueno, si les interesa leer la sinopsis de S.
